Iceland Google Map

This map has kid-friendly activities, sights, hikes, and places to eat all around Iceland! I love creating and using these maps when we travel. It helps me plan our trips because I can see where sights are located in relation to everything else. AND when we are out exploring, I can open it up to see what is nearby.

12 day itinerary

We traveled around the Iceland in about 12 days, and I think this is probably the minimum amount of time you would want to take to do the Ring Road. This itinerary could definitely be modified to spend more time in areas that especially interest you.

Iceland Kids travel Activity Book and Journal

Our Iceland kids travel activity guidebook and journal focuses a lot on the amazing natural environment of Iceland. Kids will learn about tectonic plates, geysers, volcanoes, glaciers, fjords, and the northern lights. They will also learn about the island’s hidden people, horses, sweaters, thermal pools, and so much more! There are activities to entertain your kids on almost every page, and journal pages at the back to help them remember their trip! These books are also great if you just want to learn about this amazing place from the comfort of your home!

Know Before You Go!

Here you will find some etiquette tips when visiting Iceland! Did you know that it is against the law to go swimming in any of the country’s geothermal swimming pools without first showering naked? Keep reading to learn what to expect before you get there!
